Imagine if your school asked you who you would most like to see in concert. You could choose anybody you wanted. Imagine that you wanted to see
High School Musical stars live and in person and your school actually listened to you! That’s exactly what happened in the Penncrest school district in Pennsylvania. In two separate polls,
Vanessa Hudgens and
Corbin Bleu were at the top of the list. The two have agreed to perform at the Crawford County Fair this August in Meadville, PA.

"This act adds to the focus of the Fair Board to help to attract younger people to the fair," Fair Treasurer Fred Wagner said. "Vanessa Hudgens and Corbin Bleu represent a quality act that will please young families and appeal to the younger audience." The two High School Musical stars will perform at the fairgrounds on August 18th. Tickets will go on sale on Monday, April 28, 2008 at the Crawford County Courthouse, by phone or online. There is no limit to the number of tickets that can be purchased and tickets are $25 for racetrack reserved seats and $20 for grandstand reserved seating.
The fair will also host performances by Gretchen Wilson, Blake Shelton, Toby Keith, and Daughtry. Both Toby Keith and Daughtry will be playing with special guests who have yet to be announced. The Crawford Country Fair board members chose to bring on Hudgens and Bleu to reach their target age group of 8 to 15 year old attendees. Overall, Wagner feels satisfied with the fair’s lineup this year. "Hopefully, we've selected some good acts that people will enjoy," he said.
Hudgens and Bleu will sing from their solo albums, both released in 2007, and will surely throw a
High School Musical song or two into their sets. Hudgens released the album “V”, featuring the hit “Say Ok” while Bleu experienced success with his album, “Another Side” and his single “Push It To The Limit”.
Will you go see Hudgens and Bleu live in concert?
