Disney Releases Official 'High School Musical 3' Trailer

Disney may have set up a website for High School Musical 3 but fans won't find any information there outside of the release date (which is October 24th).  With the trailer hitting Disney's website today, one might expect that the movie site would be beefed up with cast bios, character infos, a short synopsis, and the trailer itself.  No such luck, though.  High School Musical 3's website only allows fans to sign up to receive more information via email, which means more bulk mail in my inbox.  There are revolving pictures that play on either side of a marquis, headshots of the main actors as their character.  If you're looking for the trailer, though, you'll have to head to Disney's official site.

High School Musical 3 features 10 new songs that take place all over East High.  There will be a song during Troy's big basketball game, one at their senior prom, in a show, and around the school.  Graduation doesn't just bring a chapter of everyone's lives to a close, but also presents issues between the friends that they'll have to face head on.  Gabriella seems like she's come to terms with the fact that she'll have to separate from Troy but he isn't prepared to say goodbye to her.

This marks the last time Troy and Gabriella will hit the screen for High School Musical as the two actors who play them refuse to sign on for a 4th installment, despite the obscene amounts of money being thrown at them.  However, Vanessa Hudgens had not ruled out working with real life boyfriend Zac Efron in the future.  "No one says it's the last time," she told People magazine in a recent interview. "Who knows what the future will bring."
