High School Musical: Get In The Picture - Stan Meets His Fans
Earlier this month, Stan Carisoza became the winner of High School Musical: Get In The Picture.  He went up against Tierney, Isaiah, and Christina in the finale and performed "I Don't Wanna Miss A Thing" by Aerosmith for the judges.  As the winner of High School Musical: Get In The Picture, Stan will receive his very own music video which will run at the end of High School Musical 3, a recording contract with Disney Records to release 2 digital records as well as a talent deal with ABC.  Last night, Carisoza had his first opportunity to thank the fans that supported him this summer and gave a special performance for them as well.

Stan met up with more than 750 fans at the Visalia Convention Center on Monday night in Visalia, California.  The even was paid for with private donations and organized by the Visalia Parks and Recreation Department.  "This is a huge crowd, and everybody's screaming. It brings out the nervousness," Carisoza said when he caught a glimpse of just how many people had come out to support him.

Fans screamed when he took the stage and yelled out things to him such as, "I love you!" and "Will you marry me?"  Stan took it all in stride and spent most of the night with a smile plastered across his face.  "I think he's great. I think it's a wonderful opportunity for him," one mother of a 9 year old fan said. "I think he's perfect."  Another young fan told the Visalia-Times Delta, "He's gorgeous. That's why she wants to meet him."

After signing autographs, a highlight reel from the show was played, and the night finished off with a performance from the High School Musical winner.  He sang "Dance with my Father," by Luther Vandross, which he sang for the show, but it never made it onto an episode.  This week, Carisoza will head to Southern California where he will record his song for the movie as well finish filming the video.
