Suddenly I'm afraid to ask because he might just pop out any minute on Heroes. I have to admit that, albeit there are a lot of things to improve on, I'm enjoy the new season so far and I'd like to think that it has something to do with Mohinder gone missing. Sure, the Carnies and Sylar are pretty much what's keeping the show afloat but somehow, I find comfort in knowing that I don't have to deal with Mohinder's annoying voiceovers and bizarre storylines anytime soon. The Fly, anyone?
Last time we saw Mohinder, he was accompanying Hiro and Ando to Sylar's funeral pyre but decided to leave to seek his "redemption" after learning that his father was involved in an operation in 1961 that hunted evolved humans.
We've seen a couple of episodes from
Heroes season 4 and so far, no sign of Mohinder, not even a hint of why he's missing and where he's run off to. Is he back in India dwelling on his father's role in the original Company? Is he teaching genetics once again? Has he returned to his job as a taxi driver? Or are the writers still trying to figure out how to make his character interesting before they bring him back again to the fold?
I'm not complaining though. And whether I like it or not, he's going to turn up some time this season. I've actually read somewhere that he's sporting a new look for the Redemption volume. I'm just hoping that when he does resurface on
Heroes, he'll be in a redeeming storyline and not just some frustrating side story that would further aggravate the show's fragile state. Otherwise, might as well not bring him back at all.
