It wasn’t long before the paparazzi started following
Hannah Montana star
Miley Cyrus everywhere she went. The teenage star has made headlines for starting to grow up a little too fast but despite tabloid reports and rumors, she has worked hard to maintain her Disney image as best she can. With TMZ watching her every movie, Miley has maintained mostly polite, calm, and friendly – despite stupid questions. When asked when she would remake her father’s 90s hit “Achy Breaky Heart”, she laughed and said, “Never!” However, the tabloid website finally caught her without that smile plastered on when someone confused her with a star she didn’t want to be associated with.
While out on the town last week, Miley ran into some young fans and stopped to pose for autographs and pictures. A passerby yelled out, “Hey! It’s Britney Spears!” to which Cyrus snapped, “I’m not freakin’ Britney Spears!” The same person tried calling out to her again, asking, “You don’t want to be called Britney Spears?” but she just kept on walking.
Miley is currently working on her big screen film,
The Hannah Montana Movie. An open casting call was held over the weekend at the Clarksville, Texas for a boy to play Miley’s love interest in the movie. Shari Rhodes, the casting director for the movie, said that she was looking for a genuine southern cowboy. She was adamant that he be between the ages of 15 and 17. The actor who will land the role of Travis cannot turn 18 until or after August 15, 2008.
Filming will start in Nashville this May. Part of the movie will also be filmed in Los Angeles. Fans might be surprised to know that Miley and Hannah will not have equal camera tima. “The movie doesn’t have as much of Hannah,” Cyrus told The Daily Dish. “It’s more based on my Miley side of things, which is going to be really cool.” The movie will be released May 1, 2009.
