Hannah Montana: Miley Cyrus Helps Light Christmas Tree at Rockefeller Center
The day after Thanksgiving is usually the appropriate time to start putting up the Christmas decorations, head out shopping, and start listening to non-stop holiday music on the radio. One holiday event that people across the country look forward to every year is the lighting of the Christmas tree at Rockefeller Center in New York City. The lighting will take place on Wednesday, December 3rd and will be broadcast on NBC from 8-9pm ET. The live telecast will feature performances and appearances from some of today’s brightest stars, including Hannah Montana’s Miley Cyrus and close friends The Jonas Brothers.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

Christmas in Rockefeller Center will be hosted by Al Roker of The Today Show and Jane Krakowski, of 30 Rock. The special will feature performances by: Beyonce, Tony Bennett, Neil Boyd, Harry Connick Jr., David Cook, Rosie O'Donnell and the Broadway Kids, Faith Hill, Rascal Flats and Solange Knowles as well as more surprise guests. The Radio City Rockettes will also perform a special routine and special guests Miss Piggy and Kermit the Frog will be on hand to help light the tree, as well as Comedy Central’s Stephen Colbert.

When it comes to buying Miley Cyrus a Christmas gift, where does one even begin? For her recent 16th birthday, her father Billy Ray bought her a recording studio. "It's a great place for us to get up there and work out some tunes and sing,” he said this week at the American Music Awards. "We both love doing harmonies and we could just jump in there and make all kinds of music and be real creative." There were also internet reports that she received a brand new Mercedes but Miley shot down the talk, saying, "I don't even have my license or anything so it'd be kind of like dumb to get one and just let it sit. I'd like to wait until I'm more ready for the road, cause I don't know if the roads are ready for me yet!"
