Hannah Montana: Miley Cyrus Condemns Twitter and Internet...Again
This Disney star's war against the Internet apparently isn't over.  On an interview with Movieline, the 17-year-old Miley Cyrus told everyone just why she left Twitter.  We already heard this story before, but the Hannah Montana actress is offering kids a word of advice.  She doesn't want anyone to go online anymore.

While that sounds pretty drastic, Miley Cyrus does get specific on some points.  She simply can't stand those social networking sites that belittle actual human contact.  It's not exactly what she said, but that pretty much covers it.

"I was kind of, like, tired of telling everyone what I'm doing," the Hannah Montana star explained about her departure from Twitter.  "I hate when I read things and celebrities are complaining like, 'I have no personal life.'  I'm like, well that's because you write everything that you're doing."

Now that she's changed, she feels that her relationships have certainly improved.  "I'm a lot less on my phone, I'm a little bit more social. I have a lot more real friends as opposed to friends who are on the internet who I'm talking to -- which is like not cool, not safe, not fun and most likely not real.  I think everything is just better when you're not so wrapped up in [the internet]."

Miley Cyrus also doesn't approve of taking so many photos and posting them online.  "[Y]ou're not having fun, you're too busy clicking away," the musician said.  "So I think just enjoy the moment you're in, and stop telling people about it. Just enjoy it."

The Hannah Montana star kicked off quite a campaign against the World Wide Web ever since she used it less and less.  She encouraged others to do the same, just like her boyfriend Liam did to her.

"I'm telling kids, don't go on the internet, it's dangerous, it's not fun, it wastes your life, and you should be outside playing sports or something," she declared.  Maybe we should get her The Last Song co-star to convince these kids too, since he sounds effective enough.
