'Hannah Montana' Helps The Jonas Brothers Become Superstars
She's a star in her own right.  Hannah Montana star Miley Cyrus was recently featured in Forbes magazine as one of the top earners under 25 in 2007.  She has a hit show, tour, music career and coming up in 2008 or 2009, a Hannah Montana movie.  On Miley's sold out tour, The Best of Both Worlds, she plays with The Jonas Brothers.  The trio are friends of Miley's and have also appeared on her Disney show.  The Jonas Brothers were signed to Columbia Records in 2005 but were dropped by their label in 2007.  It seemed that it would be the end of their story but a little help from Disney and Miley's magic touch put these brothers back on top.

After recording songs for the Meet The Robinsons soundtrack and the Disney Mania cd series, they appeared on an episode of Hannah Montana that aired after the High School Musical 2 premiere.  It was seen by over 10 million people.  They headed out on tour with Miley, appeared at the American Music Awards, and sang in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.

This week, according to Rolling Stone, The Jonas Brothers signed a two year multi-million dollar deal with Live Nation to head up their own tour.  The brothers will play 140 dates worldwide after wrapping up The Best of Both Worlds tour on January 9.  Beginning January 31 in Tucson, Arizona, the "Look Me In The Eyes Tour" will also make stops in Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Antonio.  The deal made between The Jonas Brothers and Live Nation is the first of its kind.  Live Nation is a live events company that promotes concerts, theatrical shows, and special events.

Before The Jonas Brothers and Miley Cyrus part ways, at least on tour, one of the band members gave everyone a scare.  While filming a backstage video for YouTube, Joe Jonas fell and hit his forehead on a grate.  He was rushed to a local hospital in New Jersey where he received stitches for his injury.  He was released and didn't miss a show.
