Emily Osment Talks 'Hannah Montana: The Movie'
What would Hannah Montana be like without her best friend, Lilly?  Actress Emily Osment says the character is actually more like her co-star Miley Cyrus.  She goes on to say that the Miley onscreen will be dealing with issues that they all go through at this point.

Expounding on the issue, Emily Osment said that Miley Stewart will be seen confronting the downsides of being famous.  This could range from being hounded by rabid fans and even more rabid paparazzi.  There's also the problem of having all that popularity go straight to her head.
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.

“That's why her father takes her back to Tennessee so she can get back to herself,” Osment said, talking about Billy Ray Cyrus' character.  She even predicted that audiences will be impressed by the performance of Miley, if they haven't been already.

As for Emily Osment, things are just getting better.  The actress has delved into the music business, as she has been hard at work getting her debut album ready to be released this year.  Her voice has been heard on hits like “I Don't Think About It” and a cover of “Once Upon a Dream,” and even shared the spotlight with Hannah Montana co-star Mitchel Musso for the song “If I Didn't Have You.”

Osment admits that despite her fame in the pop scene, she's going for a different and edgier sound.  A fan of Radiohead and John Lennon, Osment might give even Hannah Montana a run for her money.

Even if she's busy with Hannah Montana and her music, Osment has booked a role in yet another Disney Channel production.  She's slated to appear in the original movie Dadnapped, set to debut in February.  The movie stars fellow Disney-bred actors like Hannah Montana's Jason Earles and Moises Arias, as well as David Henrie, Jennifer Stone, Phill Lewis and Kirsten Storms.

Emily Osment has had other film credits to her name, so who knows what's next for this rising star?  Before, she was seen on R.L. Stine's The Haunting Hour Volume One: Don't Think About It and even voiced characters in Lilo & Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch.  She rose to fame playing Gerti Giggles in the Spy Kids trilogy as well.  Be sure to catch Emily Osment on Hannah Montana: The Movie, in cinemas this April.
