John Driscoll as Coop On the previous episode of Guiding Light, Harley (Beth Ehlers) had one of her panic attacks, but instead of calling Cyrus (Murray Bartlett), she turned to Marina (Mandy Bruno) for help.  The two then confronted each other about Cyrus, and Harley assured Marina that she would never hurt her by getting involved with the man she loves.

Bill (Daniel Cosgrove) was forced to jump over the balcony when Lizzie (Marcy Rylan) refused to let him in.  After he jumped, Lizzie was stunned to see a picture of her and Billy in his wallet.

Doris (Orlagh Cassidy), proclaiming that she will prosecute the person responsible for rigging the election, had no choice but to agree that Ashlee (Caitlin Van Zandt) should be arrested, to the chagrin of Coop (John Driscoll).  While drinking his troubles away, Coop found Bill's plans for Main Street and subsequently burned them.  He threw the burning papers into the trailer, not knowing that Bill was inside.  There was a white flash, and Lizzie, who was on her way to the trailer, was knocked off her feet.

Want to know how the drama continues in Guiding Light?  Then read on for this week's spoilers.

After the explosion, Lizzie runs into the trailer to get Bill.  She comes upon a bloody Bill, and the sight panics her.  She calls for help.  It turns out that the explosion blinded Bill, but despite not being able to see, he manages to put on a brave face for his friends and family.  However, he is outraged when Vanessa (Maeve Kinkead) says that the blindness just might be a blessing in disguise.  In his anger, Bill demands that everyone leave his room, but Lizzie comes in and calms his down.  Bill vows that whoever caused the explosion will pay.

Meanwhile, Coop comes clean to Ava (Michelle Ray Smith) and pleads with her to leave town with him.

Now back at the DA's office, Jeffrey (Bradley Cole) begins to investigate Edmund's (David Andrew MacDonald) case.  The scheming Will (Seamus Davey-Fitzpatrick) calls the station and, using a voice distortion software, implicates Reva (Kim Zimmer).  Will plants the missing buttons from Edmund's jacket in Reva's purse, and when Mallet (Robert Bogue) finds the buttons, Reva becomes the prime suspect.  Reva and Josh (Robert Newman) manage to get a confession from Will, but Cassie (Nicole Forester) falls victim to his poor kid act.  Scared of what he'll do next, Cassie brings Will to the cabin, vowing not to leave until she gets through to him.  Unbeknownst to Cassie, Will is the one responsible for Alonzo's death, a fact that was made clear to Jeffrey and Josh when they watched a DVD of the murder.

As for Marina and Harley, Marina does her best to keep her aunt away from Cyrus.  However, Harley and Marina later share a kiss as Marina rounds the corner.
