Fans of Daniel Cosgrove will not want to miss this week's run of Guiding Light
, as the 36-year-old actor is set to return to the soap as Bill Lewis on Tuesday, November 13. Cosgrove, who is also appearing on ABC's primetime drama, Dirty Sexy Money
, told TV Guide
that he decided to return to the soap in order to work in New York City and be with his family.
"I'm taking myself out of the L.A. game to a large degree," he said. "This is not the career path a lot of people would take, but reality strikes as you get older. I'm happy and at peace with this."

Bill returns to Springfield with a gift for ex-wife, Olivia. According to the network, Bill is “a changed man,” which could mean trouble between between him and Olivia. Bill's relationship with his father, Billy, remains rocky, and he reveals that after Billy fired him, he almost got killed in Venezuela. Bill further jeopardizes a reconciliation with his father when he and Dinah conspire and reveal that Billy has fallen off the wagon.
On the other hand, Bill finds a friend in Lizzie, who can't help her romantic feelings for him, and they eventually end up sleeping together.
Veering away from Bill's return to Guiding Light
, this week's run will also have Edmund learning the truth about Beth's baby's paternity, and Alan seeing Gus proposing to Natalia.
When Harley finds out about the engagement, she turns to Cyrus for comfort. Things between Cyrus and Harley heat up when the pair recount their first kiss, spelling trouble for Cyrus and Marina's budding relationship.
Meanwhile, Reva wants to stir up trouble for Edmund, and learns that Jeffrey wants to celebrate Thanksgiving in Montana with Jonathan and Sarah. Josh expresses concern over Cassie's adopted son, Will, but Cassie quickly dismisses his worries. Will, on the other hand, tries his best to get Josh on his side.
