Check out a fun video of the cast of Grimm screaming their way through Universal Studios Halloween Horror Nights maze "La Llorona" last weekend.

Screams and laughter

In the video, we see Silas Weir Mitchell (Monroe), Bitsie Tulloch (Juliette), and Kate del Castillo (who guest stars in Friday's special Halloween episode) alternately screaming and laughing their way through Universal's "La Llorona" maze. Having been to the famous scream park a number of times myself, I can admit to the screams followed by laughter being pretty much par for the course.

Ladies first

I love that at first, Bitsie and Kate are seen entering each part of the maze first, with Silas trailing behind. It's a pretty common tactic that I've seen a lot of men use as many of the monsters will attack whoever is in the front of a group. But it looks like the ladies wised up and eventually Silas was sent through the rooms first. I cracked up when I saw that he took off his glasses so that he could see less of the scariness. Yep, sounds about right to me.

"Don't go there!"

At the end of the maze, the three Grimm cast mates can be seen warning other guests not to go near the La Llorona maze, though of course they're just kidding. After all, if you're going to Halloween Horror Nights, then you're looking for a good scare. I know I always am.

Special Halloween episode

So why did the cast go visit the La Llorona maze, you may ask? Why to celebrate their very special Halloween episode of the same name. This Friday, October 26, Grimm takes on the famous legend of La Llorona ("The Weeping Woman"). It's an enduring tale from Latin American folklore that tells of a distraught mother who drowned her children and then herself. As the story goes, the ghost of the mother emerges from water and is forced to return to haunt and terrorize the living.

If you're in the Los Angeles area and looking for some scares, screams and laughs, I highly recommend that you check out Universal's Halloween Horror Nights. I've been going for many years now and will in fact be checking out the La Llorona maze myself this weekend.

But not on Friday night. On Friday night you should be sitting in front of your TV screen so that you can see how Grimm handles the tale of La Llorona. How about it Grimm fans, will you be watching?
