Fans of the very intense Cristina (Sandra Oh) and Owen (Kevin McKidd) are doubly worried on  Grey's Anatomy. Not only is newcomer Jackson (Jesse Williams) kissing an inebriated/pissed Cristina on the sidelines of a surprise party gone wrong, but someone from Owen's past - and John Bauer's, too, by the way - is set to visit Seattle Grace.

But McKidd tells that Kim Raver's character, Teddy Altman, won't be on Grey's Anatomy to come between Cristina and Owen. In fact, she might even help Yang, but bring some trouble into the relationship in the process.

"[Owen] kind of feels she [Yang] doesn't need any help because she's so tough," McKidd explains. "But he realizes she needs help professionally. She's not being given the direction she needs and she's so talented, but what happens to hugely talented people when they flounder is they become distracted. He makes an attempt to try and refocus her and give her all she needs professionally. Ironically, that might be the thing that jeopardizes their love for each other."

All in all, however, rough waters are currently on the horizon for Yang and Owen, says McKidd. (although he said nothing about Jackson). He adds that it's "testing time" for the intense couple.

"They've worked so hard to get where they are and just when they think they're hitting solid ground, stuff happens in TV shows and their faith in each other is going to be tested. I personally hope they're going to pull through it because I think they have a real magic together."

Kim Raver arrives tonight on Grey's Anatomy.
