In the same way the Killers was on The OC or The Flaming Lips was on Beverly Hills 90210 or Barenaked Ladies on Charmed, Gwen Stefani-led No Doubt will reunite for the first time in five years on the May 11th episode of Gossip Girl to perform the 1981 Adam and the Ants classic Stand and Deliver.

The Gossip Girl gig will also serve as the launch of No Doubt's reunion tour, their first in five years.  Gwen Stefani, Tony Kanal, Adrian Young and Tom Dumont are currently working on the follow-up to their 2001 album Rock Steady.

The episode will reportedly have a complete 80s theme (that explains the song) to suitably launch the Gossip Girl spin-off allegedly starring Brittany Snow. T he spin-off will feature the teenage days of Lily in 1980s Los Angeles.  The still untitled episode is the penultimate for the CW hit's sophomore season.
