On the last episode of Gossip Girl, perhaps it's safe to say that Dan (Penn Badgley) and Serena (Blake Lively) are not exactly on smooth waters after the whole Miss Carr (Laura Breckenridge) fiasco.  When we left them, in fact, she and Dan were doing something and it's not exactly related to academics.  Yet we also know that Dan and Serena's relationship is prone to things like this, so it's also possible that they'd just shrug this whole thing off off.  So what is really going to happen between this couple?  Read on to find out.

E! Online reports that their half-sibling who'll be appearing on Gossip Girl soon will in fact cause some major trouble between the two.  "Serena and Dan are really over,” confirms a source with finality.  Serena will allegedly be cozying up to a new love interest in the person of Gabriel Serrano (guest star Armie Hammer).

Hammer, 22, has appeared in Arrested Development, Veronica Mars and Desperate Housewives.
