Last week's episode of
Gossip Girl brought us the catfight to end all catfights. The hair pulling commenced after Blair dared to bring up Serena's murder scandal in front of the dean of Yale, forcing S to get a little physical. The frenemies apologized and worked things out in the end, but how long will their cease fire last? Aside from that scandalous smackdown, Rufus agreed to home school Jenny, Chuck and Nate had an argument over Dan, and Serena wooed Yale's dean more with her fame than her brains.
On tonight's
Gossip Girl, Blair and Chuck team up to destroy Vanessa after V cooks up a clever blackmail scheme.
Spotted: Bart Bass dropping in on a van der Woodsen breakfast. He and Lily (
Kelly Rutherford) announce some new rules for the family, including required dinner gatherings and an early curfew. Serena isn't pleased, and she vents her frustrations to Eric on the way to school. S thinks that Lily completely loses her identity every time she finds a new man, but Eric and his new brown hair think it's a good thing their mom wants the family together. Over in Brooklyn, Vanessa is trying to save a historic building from being demolished, and she thinks she'll be able to drum up supporters at Constance Billiard.
The bromance between Chuck and Nate (
Chace Crawford) is still on the rocks thanks to Dan, and Blair couldn't be happier. After slinging some barbs at C, B attends a disciplinary hearing for one of the members of the girl mafia. The girl dared to mistake tights for pants, which just proves that she's been idolizing Lindsay Lohan for a bit too long. Vanessa corners Blair and asks her to help save the historic building, but B thinks that "charity is for diseases and endangered species." That's when V whips out the pictures of Marcus and Catherine and threatens to make them public if B doesn't cooperate. Devious!
