I love Santana. The incredibly mean
Glee character has stepped up
this season as a force to be reckoned with, and while her verbal
smackdown on the bully Karofsky this week made some cheer, she's about
to open up an equally large can of whup-ass on everyone in New
Directions.
The 90-minute episode "Born This Way" airing this Tuesday is set to be
all about being happy with yourself and not embracing who you are. But
Santana would like to add some honesty into the equation.
In this clip from the episode, she lays into almost everyone about the many physical imperfections they have, and she adds that there's nothing wrong with acknowledging that you don't like some things about yourself. I can't decide if the best part is Santana's comment about cracking seeds or the fact that Sam totally touches Finn's nipple, which is weird on every level. Check out her awesome, brutal truth.
If she's supposed to be the villain who's opinions are wrong,
Glee should make her less hilarious, because Santana speaks the cold-stone truth in this scene and has concerted me into agreeing with her. You can have Brittany's absurdities or Sue's angry diatribes, I'm happy to just have Santana keeping it real with enough insults for everyone.
The special 90-minute episode of
Glee airs Tuesday at 8pm on FOX.
