Glee is going on Spring Break soon and it will be gone for seven whole weeks. FOX announced its spring plans for Tuesday nights, and they include taking Glee off the air following its February 21 episode. New episodes will return to the schedule starting April 10.

The show will be replace with a two-hour comedy block Tuesday nights starting March 6. Raising Hope will move to 8pm, I Hate My Teenage Daughter returns at 8:30pm, New Girl will stay at 9pm and season 2 of the Christian Slater comedy Breaking In (now with Megan Mullally) premieres at 9:30pm.

Glee is available on Amazon Prime.

The break for Glee will follow the big February 21 episode, "On My Way," where New Directions will compete against the Warblers at Regionals. I'm gonna go out on a limb and guess that New Directions will come out victorious, otherwise there won't be much left for the final eight episodes of the season.

Before the break, Glee fans will also get a look at a number of upcoming guest stars, including Ricky Martin in the February 7 episode as a sexy Spanish teacher and Rachel's gay dads (Jeff Goldblum and Brian Stokes Mitchell) in the Valentine's Day episode on February 14. That episode will also mark the first appearance of The Glee Project winner Samuel Larsen as a character named Apollo who will share a song with Sam and Mercedes.

When Glee returns April 10, the show will go uninterrupted through the end of season 3.
