Boy Meets World fans have been anxiously awaiting the debut of the upcoming Disney Channel spin-off. But with no premiere date in sight, all we knew was that it would launch this summer. Now we can start counting down the days.

Girl Meets World will premiere on Friday, June 27 at 9:45pm, following the premiere of the new Disney Channel original movie Zapped, starring former Shake It Up star and Dancing with the Stars alum Zendaya. The series will move to its regular 8:30pm timeslot on Friday, July 11 after taking a week off.

And a four-hour Boy Meets World marathon, hosted by stars Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel, will air on June 15 (which is Father's Day) on the Disney Channel.

But if you can't wait that long, then you're in luck. You can use the digital platform Watch Disney Channel, available on smartphones, tablets and desktops, to watch the premiere as early as May 21. Users will have to verify their cable provider. Also, a free download will be available on iTunes on June 13.

As if this isn't exciting enough, a new one-minute trailer has been released, which you can watch below. It starts off with Riley complaining about a teacher and then finding out her own father is one of her middle school teachers.

There's plenty of footage of Riley, BFF Maya and their classmates at school, along with Cory and Topanga laughing when their daughter exclaims, "I'm outta control!" And when Riley says, "I'm growing up, dad," Cory gets all dramatic and grabs his chest, with Topanga next to him feeling exasperated.

The music that plays during the trailer is the theme song, called "Take on the World." And the featured singers on the song are none other than Rowan Blanchard and Sabrina Carpenter, who play Riley and Maya, respectively. The song (both the original and a remix) will be released digitally on May 20.

We already know that many Boy Meets World favorites are returning for the spin-off, but we're now hearing about some new guest stars. E! Online reports that Cloris Leachman, Jane Lynch, Jackee Harry, Willie Garson, Charlotte Rae and Herbie Hancock will all make appearances in season 1.

What do you think of the new Girl Meets World trailer? Does it give you a better idea of what the show will be like? And will you be watching the premiere early on Watch Disney Channel or iTunes?
