Jennifer Love Hewitt is keeping herself busy these days amidst her split with Ghost Whisperer co-star Jamie Kennedy. Besides playing lead character Melinda Gordon on the CBS paranormal drama, she's also working on the movie Cafe and has just landed a gig on Love Bites.

Love Bites, however, isn't an allusion to Hewitt's publicized love life. It's a new pilot on NBC from Sex and the City scribe Cindy Chupack about three loosely connected stories of love, dating, and marriage. According to Entertainment Weekly's Michael Ausiello, the Ghost Whisperer star won't be joining the cast as a series regular, but will be making a cameo as herself instead.

As of this moment, details about Hewitt's stint on Love Bites, which will also feature Ugly Betty's Becki Newton, My Boys' Jordana Spiro, Heroes' Greg Grunberg, Lipstick Jungle's Lindsay Price, Sex and the City's Jason Lewis, and The Office's Craig Robinson, are being kept under wraps.

Meanwhile, Hewitt is taking her sweet time before jumping back again into the dating scene.

"I don't like to go out to clubs and party. I'm not into 'Let's go out with one guy on a Monday and another guy on a Wednesday' -- that's just not me," the Ghost Whisperer star told People. "I'm a relationship kind of girl. I like a twosome. Some people get excited about being single. I don't."

Hewitt is also busy promoting her new book, ironically titled The Day I Shot Cupid, which offers advice and wisdom on dating and relationship.
