Sebastian Roché, who was born on August 5, 1964 in Paris, France, lived on a sailing boat with his family for six years when he was a teenager. They traveled from France to the Mediterranean, Africa, South America and the Caribbean. He was educated at Conservatoire National Superieur d'Art Dramatique of Paris and moved on to work with Al Pacino in Salome and Julie Taymor in
The Green Bird. In 2002, he played Kurt Mendell in the sci-fi television series
Odyssey 5. In 2007, Roché was cast for the role of Jerry Jacks on the soap opera

General Hospital. Originating in Australia and moving to Alaska, Jerry is a playboy who came to Port Charles to visit his brother, Jax and to meet Jax's fiancée, Brenda Barrett. He later got involved with Bobbie Spencer. Their relationship hit a rocky road when a tape exposed their love making to the public. However, they handled this well and stuck together through the whole ordeal. Jerry got into an accident and nearly lost his life, but luckily survived. He then planned to marry Bobbie and promised to keep his illegal activities behind him.
