Rebecca Herbst, who was born on May 12, 1977 in Encino, is most known for her role as Elizabeth Webber on the long running daytime soap opera, General Hospital. Having Korean and Canadian heritage, she told her mother that she wanted to appear on television so she could play with the toys. At this time she was only six and she started appearing on numerous national commercials. She later moved on to guest starring on many television series, including Highway to Heaven, L.A. Law, Beverly Hills 90210, Step By Step, and Days of Our Lives. In 2001, she married former General Hospital co-star Michael Saucedo and currently has two children with him.

Elizabeth "Liz" Imogene Webber Spencer is played by Rebbeca Herbst on ABC's General Hospital. Elizabeth first came to Port Charles as a rebellious teen who instantly became infatuated with Lucky Spencer. However, Lucky had already set his eyes on her sister Sarah, who she also instantly disliked. On one Valentines Day, Liz was walking around aimlessly in the park, apparently depressed because Lucky had taken her sister to the dance, and not her. Suddenly, she was grabbed into one of the bushes and was raped. When she was able to escape that ordeal, Lucky found her and his family helped her deal with what had just happened.
