Fringe loves making videos.

The two most recent Fringe season 4 videos have a slightly different format than many of those that have come before. Instead of clips, retrospectives or spoilers, these videos give answers to fan questions and take a look at one of the show's secondary characters.

What will we learn about Astrid or Peter's peacoat? Keep reading to find out!

The first video features Joshua Jackson answering fan-submitted questions. Check out his answers below:

  • While it is a lovely coat, I do hope that Fringe focuses less on the costuming and more on the character. Although a return of the coat would be good too.
  • How would Lincoln look in a peacoat? That is definitely a question to be solved in Fringe season 4.
  • It's a little scary that Fringe fandom has a "peacoat faction."
  • Did anyone else get the impression that Joshua Jackson was having way too much fun with this question?

OK, perhaps that was not the most burning question that Fringe could have answered. But that's what we've got. On a show like Fringe, you need to take all of the answers you can.

The second video focuses on the character of Astrid, set to be an important factor in the upcoming Fringe episode, "Making Angels" (airing on Friday, February 3). Check it out below:

(WARNING: There are a few brief scenes from "Making Angels" included in this video. Be careful if you fear spoilers.)

  • The Fringe producers might be a little mean, teasing poor Jasika Nicole like that.
  • Do we think that "Making Angels" will be sad, or does Jasika Nicole just cry easily?
  • Apparently, a lot of the action follows from Alt-Astrid coming over to our universe for some reason.
  • There is no way that Fringe Division sanctioned wandering across universes for the sole purpose of meeting a doppelganger. But it wouldn't be surprising that Alt-Astrid knows how to bypass security.
  • Awww... Astrid's mother died of cancer. That is sad.
  • It would be a change to get a Nina Sharpe episode. You know, since she hasn't done much of anything in four seasons (other than be vaguely menacing, of course).
