The biggest story on last week's Friday Night Lights should be Becky's pregnancy. But what I didn't see coming was the identity of the father: Luke. Whew. Like, for a moment I thought it was Tim, never mind that they just kissed, like, days before. Still, it's something the two should deal with, and Becky's decision to drop the baby would make an impact on more people than they imagined.

Which brings us to tonight's episode. Becky's still bent on dropping it, and Luke's still bent on having a say, even if it seems he's more taken aback than taking charge. But he'll get his chance: it's his parents' turn to know. They'll be willing to help, but that should put Luke in a tighter spot.

Also on a tighter spot: Vince. He is the Lions quarterback, after all, and Coach's doing a pretty good job of keeping watch over him -- although not everybody thinks of that. Change your coaching style, he's told. While he goes working on that, Vince's mother suffers from a health crisis and it'll shake the kid up, definitely.
