TV Guide Magazine's William Keck reports that the folks at
Friday Night Lights have cast someone else to play one of the
four new characters in the coming season: Madison Burge is set to play Becky, a beauty queen whose life and background will toss some sense of scandal towards Riggins' way.
To be precise, apparently recurring character Becky--raised by a single mom in a working-class family--will be using her charm, humor and looks to get her way, namely complicate both Riggins' life and Tami's. Ahh, the things, 15-year-olds will do...
The
FNL role is a pretty big one for Burge. I'm saying that because it's pretty hard finding some information about the actress. I checked her IMDB profile and, apparently, she's only starred in three indie films. The last one,
One More Chance, was a short that screened at this year's SXSW Film Festival in Austin.
And looking for a photo of her is pretty hard, too: the photo you see here was spotted only on the SXSW website, and that isn't visible enough. The other photos I found on Google were of people called "Madison Burger". So, yes, I think it's safe to say that this is a big break for her.
So, to recap, Madison Burge is playing Becky;
Michael B. Jordan plays Luke; and Matt Lauria plays Vince. What exactly she'll be doing on the show remains to be seen...
