Last week on
Eureka, the small town adventures of Carter (
Colin Ferguson) became more interesting when his daughter Zoe (
Jordan Hinson) became so busy with the mayoral race that she left her lab partner to accidentally conjure a new sun. Being the heroic figure that he is, Carter, along with Zane, rushed to get rid of the fireball in the sky. They donned their heavy duty protection gear and got ready to literally put out the sun.
Tonight on
Eureka, fans will get to see the midseason finale titled “From Fear to Eternity,” where trouble starts brewing again, and it’s up to Carter to save the day.
In tonight’s episode, a scientific find produces some bad results which will spawn trust issues. Zoe’s life gets in danger and Eva Thorne steps up to find the person responsible for all the chaos.
It’s interesting to see that while the show is very successful, the network behind the show is making plans for a companion show for the series. We recently reported that the Sci-Fi channel has greenlighted an hour-long drama entitled
Warehouse 13, which the network considers as a companion series for Eureka. The show will feature Eddie McClintock and Joanna Kelly in their breakout roles and the show will debut alongside other Sci-Fi newbies Revolution and Caprica.
Meanwhile, fans have attributed Eureka’s success to the creative room behind the series. Some find it amusing that the show keeps a light tune to it, despite the fact that it also shows characters scrambling to save the day. In fact, Matt Roush of TV Guide recently commended Eureka for having “grace and heart” when it comes to killing off a character, particularly Nathan Stark (
Ed Quinn). As for those who are still crossing their fingers to see Nathan on the show and are still hoping that he may still be alive, tune into
Eureka as it continues its storytelling in tonight’s midseason finale, which airs tonight at 9pm.
