Drake Bell, best known for his exposure on Nickelodeon's Drake & Josh, has just been added to the list of youth-oriented acts performing at the Kidfetti festival scheduled for February.

With the purpose of emphasizing the bond between children, their families and their communities, Kidfetti attempts to inspire families on the importance of protecting and nurturing the mental and physical wellness of children.  Set to commence on February 22 to 23 in Ocala, Florida, the kid-centric fun fest promises to be an event to remember as it brings together performances by nationally-recognized, youth-oriented entertainers and musical performers, as part of a large, outdoor music and cultural festival focusing on the needs of children and their families.

The 21-year-old Drake & Josh star will join other notable performers like Teddy Geiger, Paula DeAnda, 535, and Hunter Hayes in a benefit for the Centers, an organization that helps children with health and substance-abuse problems.  Moreover, Dionne Warwick will also grace the event as the main attraction for adults.

"It's a big thing to have Drake Bell in Ocala," Laurie Z. Menard, development director of the Centers, said.  "The kids love him, and this festival is going to have something for everyone, adults and children."

Since being cast as Drake Parker on Drake & Josh in 2004, Bell has made numerous television appearances and has acquired plenty of upcoming movie projects, including Superhero, Drake & Josh in New York and College.  In addition to his acting credentials, Bell has also successfully penetrated the music scene with his fast selling current CD "It's Only Time."  Among his many achievements this year, he has won his second Kids' Choice Award for "Favorite Television Actor" and "Best Male Singer" and "Best TV Show" for Drake & Josh at the United Kingdom's version of the Nickelodeon Awards.
