On
Desperate Housewives, McDonough will reportedly play a new white-collar resident who will cross romantic paths with Edie Britt. This casting news will hopefully put a rest to rumors that
Nicolette Sheridan won’t be coming back to the ABC dramedy.
McDonough is the second new addition to the cast of
Desperate Housewives, following the casting of Gale Harold, who will recurrently appear as Ken, the mysterious man kissing Susan Meyer (
Teri Hatcher) in the final flash-forward scene of this past season.
In addition to
Desperate Housewives, McDonough has several upcoming projects slated for the silver screen. He’ll be starring in the drama movie called
Traitor, which also features Guy Pearce and Don Cheadle, and will be a father and a coach in the sports drama
Forever Strong. At present, he is filming action adventure Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li, which is based on the popular video game, and
The Seed, which will both be released in 2009.
Who are you most excited to see on Desperate Housewives?
