"We hope to add a troublemaker,"
Desperate Housewives creator Marc Cherry previously teased, "but I'm not so sure it'll be a woman."

Housewives news, ABC is eying to settle Nicolette Sheridan's $20 million lawsuit out of court for fear that a legal showdown might prove ultimately disastrous for the show when potentially incriminating information leaks.
"Our legal team is working to get both sides together to see if they can help broker a compromise,"
said a senior source.
Speaking of which, Sheridan's ex, singer Michael Bolton, has
expressed support for the axed
Housewives. "There has been some wicked stuff in the news but my vote is for her prevailing," he said. "She's going to be fine."
The two split in 2008.
It's the season finale on Sunday when
Desperate Housewives returns: Lynette (Felicity Huffman) is held hostage by the Fairview Strangler, Bree (Marcia Cross) is being blackmailed by runaway son Sam for something Andrew did way, way back, Susan (Teri Hatcher) is having more money problems and it's up to Gaby (Eva Longoria-Parker) to help Angie (Drea de Matteo).
