So says Susan (Teri Hatcher) when an ambulance pulled up to pick up Katherine (Dana Delaney) who stabbed herself at the start of the episode to show us how crazy she had turned. But crazy Katherine is but a small part of Desperate Housewives' holiday break closer, although it doesn't make it less heartbreaking, especially with Dylan being there and all.

That being said, the deaths on the much-ballyhooed Desperate Housewives plane crash seem to be a cop-out. The scene itself, I think, was played masterfully, but what happened didn't meet expectations. If you haven't seen the episode, don't click.

First hit was neighbor Mona, good-nurse-turned-bad who got wind of the big Bolen secret and wanted $67,000 to not go to the police. Desperate Housewives viewers at that point had absolutely zero sympathy for her because of all the bribing and may have actually cheered a bit when that wing hit her on the sidewalk. Serves her right, but who cared about Mona to begin with?

The plane crashed, ultimately, on the little Santa's house where Bree (Marcia Cross), Orson (Kyle MacLachlan) and Karl (Richard Burgi) were. The two guys were having a little fist and candy cane fight when Orson learned that Karl was the guy Bree was screwing behind his back. At the end of the episode, a bloodied hand dangled on the window of the house (how the hand found itself in such an awkward position, who knows), indicating that one of the three died.

MacLachlan previously said that he's returning to Wisteria Lane, while there's no way Desperate Housewives is getting rid of Bree at this point so it's most probably Karl. Also, Lynette (Felicity Huffman) saved Celia to fix that little squabble they have, and if my spoiler memory serves me right, this plane crash will also take care of the pregnancy.

So to summarize, Mona dead so the Bolens are, once again, going to get away scot-free, Lynette and Gaby (Eva Longoria-Parker) will probably patch things up because Lynette is so heroic, Katherine is on her way to the loony bin, while Bree will have to deal with Orson, whether she likes it or not. Other than that, no major changes on Wisteria Lane.

Cop out, Marc Cherry, cop out! Shame on you!
