A word of caution to all serial killers. There's a tiny-slim chance that your serial killing ways will end up with you having to delivery a baby and stare right into a woman's vagina. You have been warned.
On tonight's Desperate Housewives season closer, Gaby (Eva Longoria-Parker) dealt with a very dangerous man, Lynette (Felicity Huffman) gave birth in the most horrible conditions, Bree (Marcia Cross) ended up losing her company ... and Susan (Teri Hatcher) did a yard sale.
Gaby had to do her best Italian wife/Angie (Drea de Matteo) impression to get to Nick so that Nick could get to Patrick Logan, who was forcing Angie to build a bomb to take to Oregon. Strange sentence, but somewhere along the line, Nick passed out and Gaby had to call the hospital for instructions on how to revive someone who's "between a coma and a nap."
Unfortunately, that's when Susan barged in to say goodbye - talk about the most horrible timing - and Gaby being Gaby sent her to the Bolens to buy her time so she can sneak up and climb the trellis (in heels) to free a tied Danny. Patrick and Angie started driving to Oregon to detonate something.
BUT: Patrick stopped driving and revealed that he left the bomb in the house and Angie had exactly 30 seconds to save Danny (and Gaby). So off she ran to save her son. THEN: after getting far enough from the car, she turned around and revealed the beauty of her plan: the bomb is in the detonator. So Angie and her pout emerged victorious and Patrick Logan was blown to smithereens. That's The Sopranos
blood for you.
On the serial killer side of things, Eddie had no choice but to operate when Lynette's water broke while in his custody. He proceeded to deliver the baby and even completed a little surgical procedure when he had to remove the umbilical cord from the newborn's neck.
Eddie's always been conflicted, and we're thankful that his good side got the better of him and he finally let Lynette turn him in.
Oh, and Orson left Bree, Susan's moving out of Wisteria Lane and one of the wives' kids isn't hers (something about a dying nurse who witnessed a switcheroo which she confessed to a priest), something that is potentially related to the guy who moved into Susan's house - Mary Alice's creepy husband Paul. This season may have been a bit strange, but next season's going to be awesome.
