Lauren Shiohama wanted a vocation in business prior to becoming model. She took a degree in Communications in University of Southern California in 2004. But due to the encouragement and support of her family and friends, she decided to take a plunge into the modeling world. Luckily, she did the right thing. She appeared in the film Little Miss Sunshine. She has also done countless print campaigns for Nike, Disney, Target, New York New York Hotel and Casino, Cosmopolitan magazine, and many more. In her spare time, she enjoys cooking for family and friends. She is also a sports buff who adores the Trojan football team.

Lauren is part of the game show Deal or No Deal. She presently holds the case number 8.
