Paula Malcomson came from Belfast and was exposed with constant violence and dissension at a young age. Apparently, this prepared her for acting. Initially, she worked in theater and eventually landed movie roles on Another Girl Another Planet, Tombstone, The Green Mile, Hamlet and A.I.: Artificial Intelligence. Ultimately, she became part of the television series Deadwood as Trixie. Trixie is the favorite girl of Al Swearengen at the Gem. She is often abused by Al but remains devoted to him. In addition, she is attracted to Sol Star.
