Gale Harold was born on July 10, 1969 in Decatur, Georgia. He graduated from The Lovett School in Atlanta, Georgia, and attended American University in Washington D.C. on a soccer scholarship. Previously, he pursued an interest in photography at the San Francisco Art Institute. He also worked as a mechanic and a construction worker prior to being an actor. As an actor, his television credits included Law & Order, Queer as Folk, The Unit and Vanished to name a few. Ultimately, he became part of the television series Deadwood as Wyatt Earp. Wyatt Earp is the brother of Morgan. Previously, Wyatt and Morgan were hired by Cy Tolliver as gunmen but are fired when they see Hearst bring in the Pinkertons. After the brothers have a confrontation with one of Hearst's gunmen, Sheriff Bullock tells Wyatt and Morgan that it is best they move on. Wyatt and Morgan leave town as allies.
