Shawn-Douglas Brady of Days of Our Lives is portrayed by
Brandon Beemer . Shawn is the son of Hope and Bo Brady who, like them, is filled with the spirit of adventure. When he was young, Shawn was kidnapped by Stefano DiMera, although he was able to escape. He was sent to boarding school which he also escaped, and returned with a bad boy image. He became friends with Philip Kiriakis, Belle Black and Chloe. Belle and Shawn soon became a couple but their relationship didn't last because Jan asked him to say that he was the father of her baby, a result of her rape incident. Shawn also played an integral part in helping his father find his lost wife and uncover the real identity of Gina.
Shawn and Belle kidnapped Claire and fled the country, after losing a court case in favor of Philip. Desperate to find out what happened to the little girl he loved, Philip tracked down Shawn and Belle. They ended up on a boat in Canada. They landed on a deserted island, and Claire became very ill. They finally found their way to an inhabited island, where they met Duck and his daughter Gabby, who agreed to help them hide.
Recently, a kidnapping attempt on Belle and Claire left Belle injured but free and Claire missing. Shawn went on to search for the missing child with help from Chloe, Bo, and the Salem Police. It was revealed later that Claire’s kidnappers were in fact trying to protect her as they were enemies of Stefano. Meanwhile, on a flight to Ireland, Belle and Shawn talked about patching things up. And they did, only it happened on the crash site when the plane crashed. After Bo recovered from surgery, Claire. Belle, and Claire said goodbye to family friends and left for an adventure around the world.
