This is one of a series of brief articles meant to introduce the DWTS viewer to each of the season 13 celebrities. Until Dancing with the Stars begins and we get our TV introductions, this will have to do!

Why You Know Her
Well, unless you lived under a rock in the summer of 2011, you heard Nancy Grace's feelings on the acquittal of Casey Anthony on charges of murder. The case, which had been a regular feature in Nancy's television work for years, gained much of its notoriety from the TV legal expert.

Otherwise, television viewers have been familiar with Nancy Grace for years, thanks to her work as a Court TV commentator and host. Nancy now stars in a new show on HLN, Nancy Grace. The former lawyer has been involved in her fair share of controversies: she famously championed accusations against parties eventually declared innocent in the Elizabeth Smart kidnapping and the Duke lacrosse team rape trial.

Also, if you watch The Soup, you'll know that Nancy Grace has a fondness for pants suits.

Why She's on Dancing with the Stars
Nancy Grace obviously likes fame, and she's riding high on it at the moment. For her, Dancing with the Stars is probably a chance to keep the fame train rolling. For Dancing with the Stars, she's a shot at an actual celebrity who evokes strong feelings in viewers.

Dancing/Performance Experience
Other than being on camera and appealing to viewers' emotions, it's arguable that Nancy Grace has virtually no performance experience. And she has already said she can't dance.

Are there enough Nancy Grace fans out there to keep her on the air? It doesn't seem terribly likely, and an awful lot of DWTS fans aren't too excited about her. Add in the apparent lack of dancing skills, and Nancy Grace might be a notable but early elimination.
