Speaking during a guest co-hosting gig on The View
, the mother of eight says she has only been on the Dancing with the Stars
set once and her meeting with "everybody" was "wonderful."
"It's no different than what I've been facing for the last year," she adds. "I feel like it's unfair. If you meet me -not the tabloid me, not anything else - you'll realize that I'm just like moms everywhere working."
She calls the diva rumors "untrue, unfounded, ridiculous," adding that she just laughs at the matter whenever she hears about it.
"I've had a great time with the whole cast," she gushes.
Gosselin, paired with DWTS
pro Tony Dovolani further reveals that she has been dancing everyday on the basement of her Wernersville, Pennsylvania home in preparation for the show's March 22 kick off.
According to the New York Post on a report, Gosselin had been snubbing other contestants on set and had been giving members of the crew the cold shoulder.
Even Olympic figure skater Johnny Weir's alleged withdrawal from the competition was attributed to her attitude.
Shortly, however, another source told Us Weekly
that "everyone loved" Kate Gosselin on the set.
On to other things, still on The View
, Gosselin says a "dancing schedule" that lets her spend time with her kids, amidst criticism that her Dancing with the Stars gig shows misguided priorities.
