Dancing with the Stars didn't waste much time making a big change. After it was revealed that long-time co-host Brooke Burke-Charvet was let go on Friday, now comes news that her replacement has already been chosen: Erin Andrews.

Andrews, currently working as a broadcaster for FOX Sports, will pull double duty and add co-hosting DWTS to her schedule starting with season 18. Like Brooke-Charvet, she's also a former DWTS contestant, finishing third with partner Maksim Chmerkovskiy in season 10 (which, ironically, was the first season Burke-Charvet served as co-host).

She will be the show's fourth co-host. Lisa Canning served with regular host Tom Bergeron in season 1 and Samantha Harris replaced her for seasons 2-9. Then Brooke-Charvet took over for the past seven seasons. In addition, season 2 winner Drew Lachey briefly served as a co-host in season 5 when Harris was on maternity leave.

Along with Andres replacing Burke-Charvet, the Harold Wheeler Orchestra will be replaced in the upcoming season by new musical director Ray Chew and a smaller band, along with prerecorded music. Chew has served as a musical director for Showtime at the Apollo, several BET Awards, the 2013 Emmy Awards and American Idol season 11.

Dancing with the Stars season 18 premieres Monday, March 17 at 8pm.
