What exactly happened last night? With frontrunners falling behind and dark horses surging ahead, the eliminations coming in the semi-finals of Dancing with the Stars season 13 should be interesting. Who will go? Who will make the finals? We predict the outcomes below.

Of course, these predictions are hardly foolproof. A close examination of our guesses over the course of the season would likely indicate a rather high number of instances in which our  predictions were wrong. Sorry about that! But who can truly understand the vagaries of the reality-show electoral system?

Still, it's worth a try. So here are the semi-finals results predictions:

Most Likely to Go Home
Hope Solo (total score = 49)
The semi-finals were not good to Hope Solo. Her dances received some of the lowest scores of the night. She lost the Cha-Cha Relay. And she let loose on the judges -- even before her scores were shown. If any one dancer is in the cross-hairs for elimination, it's Hope Solo.

Most Deserving of Elimination
Hope Solo

She's a good dancer, and she's had to put up with a lot of Maks to get here. Still, it's safe to say that Hope had the worst semi-final night of the remaining DWTS competitors. And she's been less consistent overall. It's Hope's time to go.

Should Be Worried
J.R. Martinez (total score = 56)

What does it take to put J.R. in danger of elimination on Dancing with the Stars season 13? Apparently, the only way to do so is an ankle injury bad enough to make walking up some stairs into a chore. Considering the injury, however, J.R. did fairly well, just not as well as before. That fact, combined with many, many devoted voters, should keep J.R. into the finals.

Rob Kardashian (total score = 65)
No question about it -- the semi-finals were the night for Rob Kardashian on Dancing with the Stars. Solid and high scores throughout the evening culminated in winning the Cha-Cha Relay. Except that he's still dealing with being the long-shot for the finals, Rob would be a shoe-in for survival. As it is, there is the smallest chance that the voters could send Rob Kardashian home. But it's not likely.

Probably Safe... For Now
Ricki Lake (total score = 67)
After last week's stumbles, it kind of looked like Ricki Lake might have to fight her way into the DWTS season 13 finals. This week, that wasn't a problem. Nearly perfect scores, lovely performances and a general air of success propelled Ricki to the top of the leaderboard. We will most definitely see her in the contest for the Mirror Ball next week.
