Sorry about the awful pun. There's only so much I can do with the theme weeks. But that doesn't really matter does it? This is about results! And results you shall get! Find out just which Dancing with the Stars season 14 dancers go home in week 7 right here!
Not all titles featured on BuddyTV are available through Amazon Prime.
Yes, there will be results from me, even if I did totally skip out on last night's performance show recap. Hopefully you survived the wit and wisdom of John. Of course, if you didn't survive, you won't be around to read this. So we're good!
Now about that dancing...
What with team dances and perfect scores (vampires! woo!) in Classical Week, the standings got a bit of a shakeup. How did everyone end the Dancing with the Stars
week 7 performances?1.
Maria Menounos and Derek Hough: 57 points2.
Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas: 54 points3. (tie)
William Levy and Cheryl Burke: 53 points3. (tie)
Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd: 53 points5.
Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower: 52 points6.
Jaleel White and Kym Johnson: 51 points7.
Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy: 47 points
What does this mean for tonight's Results Show
? Well, according to the BuddyTV Readers' Poll
, 69 percent of those voting picked Melissa and Maks for elimination. The couple was trailed by Jaleel and Kym (19 percent) and Roshon and Chelsie (12 percent).
Whichever dancers make up the bottom two will have to face the final Dance Duel at the end of the hour. Should be interesting...Did you forget the Dancing with the Stars week 7 performances already? That's OK -- check out the BuddyTV recap here!
And we're off!
This week's encore dance is, naturally, the vampire-themed paso doble from Maria and Derek. It looks just as good the second time. And it has an alternate ending -- this time the vampire hunter lives!
That out of the way, RESULTS
The three couples who get to hear their fates first are: Katherine & Mark, Donald & Peta, and William & Cheryl.
Could any of these couples actually be in the bottom?William Levy and Cheryl Burke are SAFE!!!Donald Driver and Peta Murgatroyd are SAFE!!!
Finally...Katherine Jenkins and Mark Ballas are SAFE!!!
Whew. For a second there, I thought they might give us some misleading drama we'd have to deal with. But they didn't.
The next bit of entertainment is a feature and performance from Richard "Steelo" Vazquez, a high-end street dancer who suffered from a major brain aneurysm. The whole dance crew is there, doing all sorts of crazy stuff. The man himself comes out midway through. Not so many tricks, but definite style.
So Brooke is talking to the four remaining couples. She's trying to, anyway. No one is answering her questions directly.
This gives me a feeling of pure glee. Because I'm a bad person who doesn't love Brooke Burke-Charvet.
We cannot, of course, get their results right now. That's OK though. Because Gavin DeGraw is back! This time he's singing. Not dancing. This is probably better.
The hat is still there.
In order to not give us any more results for a long time, there is now some sort of amateur ballroom-dancer battle. Six of the DWTS
pros picked dancers to represent them in something called the "Ballroom Battle." Cheryl's, Tony's and Louis' dancers get to take the floor.
They have to dance a jive relay. It's kind of like the Motown Marathon last week. Only like a million times better. And the winner is... Team Cheryl. I didn't catch their names. I'm sure you can find them elsewhere on the Internets if you care.
Hey, remember those RESULTS? Believe it or not, Dancing with the Stars has remembered them too. The remaining four couples -- Maria & Derek, Roshon & Chelsie, Jaleel & Kym, and Melissa & Maks -- are up.Maria Menounos and Derek Hough are SAFE!!!
Shocker there, I know.Roshon Fegan and Chelsie Hightower are in the bottom two.
Melissa Gilbert and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are SAFE!!!
Seriously, who are these crazy people voting in such numbers for Melissa and Maks?
This means...Jaleel White and Kym Johnson are in the bottom two.
You know, this could actually be a real competition for once. Both couples have scored high. And both have scored low.
It's a rumba for both couples. Jaleel and Kym seem more connected in their moves, while Roshon and Chelsie seem to have fancier moves. Not really know the steps required for a rumba, it's honestly impossible to say which dance the judges will prefer.Judges' ChoicesLen
: Roshon and ChelsieBruno
: Roshon and ChelsieCarrie Ann
: Roshon and Chelsie
Which means that...Jaleel White and Kym Johnson have been eliminated from Dancing with the Stars!
I guess all of the bad press catches up eventually.
Was the right dancer eliminated? Would you have saved Jaleel and Kym? Why does Melissa keep getting saved by the fans? Leave your comments below!(Images courtesy of ABC)
