Steve-O’s gone.  And as much as we’d like him to carry on with his entertaining antics on Dancing with the Stars, there’s nothing we can do about it.  He got eliminated on Tuesday’s Results Show following his not-so-impressive rumba, and while he would have loved to linger on the competition, the Jackass prankster have already accepted his inevitable fate. He also took the bad news rather well.

"It was awesome," Steve-O told Eonline.com. "I got to stick around as long as Cloris Leachman.  Who's the real champion? I got cookies at the end."

During his stint on Dancing with the Stars, Steve-O sustained several injuries, some of which was caused by his “poor judgment.”  And because of everything he’s been through, he seemed to have learned his lesson and is now being more cautious with his actions.

"It's been an experience that allowed me to grow,” Steve-O added. “It actually forced me to grow. I feel like a better person than I was when I first started."

Meanwhile, Dancing with the Stars frontrunner Gilles Marini explains why he and professional dance partner Cheryl Burke slipped from first place down to third this week.  Evidently, he forgot some of the steps to his Monday-night jive routine due to a cortisone shot, which is a type of steroid that is used as a powerful anti-inflammatory medication for his shoulder injury.

"They shot cortisone, and then after two weeks I have to take a lot of medicine," said Marini, who will undergo surgery once Dancing with the Stars wraps up.  "[Cortisone] makes me a little drowsy, so I can't remember the steps."

As for Burke, whose past partners on the show have also been injured, she gives a possible explanation for the prevalent injury.

"I think they just don't listen to me. I say not to overextend their arms and they don't listen to me," she said.
