In this series, we will study the 16 couples on Dancing with the Stars season 9 and predict who has the best chances for success, and who is doomed to humiliation.

Who is Aaron Carter?
A lot of people are probably familiar with Aaron Carter. Other than being the younger brother of Backstreet Boy Nick, Aaron has also had a respectable music career. In fact, he's a triple platinum selling artist and song writer. The former teen sensation started his musical career at age 8, and he currently holds the record for the youngest solo artist to have four Top 40 singles. Since 1997, he has released four studio albums, with a couple reaching platinum status. He has also appeared on TV series 7th Heaven, Lizzie McGuire, and the Broadway production of Seussical the Musical. In 2006, he starred on his own E! reality show, featuring him and his siblings.

Karina Smirnoff's History
One of Dancing with the Stars' more colorful professional dancers, Karina Smirnoff has not been to the finale since her season 3 debut. This is her seventh consecutive season, and her best finish so far had been during her first attempt (season 3), where she was third alongside parter Mario Lopez. Most of the time, she had the misfortune of being partnered with - excuse me - not exactly flexible men, including Floyd Mayweather, Jr. and Steve Wozniak.

My Prediction: Finale
There is no doubting Karina Smirnoff's popularity, and Aaron Carter fans in the late 1990s and early 2000s are now of age and will probably vote for the couple. Aside from that, Aaron Carter's musical background will come into play during his Dancing with the Stars stint. He has rhythm and musicality, which will no doubt be to his advantage. Also, the former teen idol - all grown-up - is no stranger to dancing. Most of his music videos will attest to this.
