CSI: Las Vegas has announced that the long running show will lose one of the investigators. Grissom is leaving after six seasons with CSI and although the announcement says it is only temporary, the show could find a big gap without him.
The show will have Gil Grissom going on a much-needed vacation due to "burn out" from the job. Grissom is played by William Petersen , who will be doing a play during his time off CSI. Warrick takes the reins of the CSI lab as Gissom departs the show. The feelings and emotions will run high as he departs, but he will be back. (Source: Media Life)
