-Action CSI: NY follows the lives, loves and careers of the men and women in the Crime Scene Investigation forensic unit in New York City. The show chronicles the tools, techniques, science and technology employed by Detectives Mac Taylor, Stella Bonasera, Danny Messer, Don Flack, Sheldon Hawkes and Lindsay Monroe as they sift through forensic evidence from various crimes, in order to solve them and apprehend the perpetrators. CSI: NY airs on CBS.

Melina Kanakaredes was born on April 23, 1967 in Akron, Ohio. She is married to Peter Constantinides, a chef, and has two daughters, Zoe and Karina. Previously, she appeared in shows like NYPD Blue, Northern Exposure, Oz, and The Practice. Moreover, he is part of the forensic drama series CSI: NY as Stella Bonasera.

Stella Bonasera appears to be strong and fiercely smart. This half-Greek, half-Italian orphan is extremely close to Mac and is often concerned about his health. Previously, he was held captive by her unstable boyfriend, Frankie Mala, whom she was forced to kill.
