Anna Belknap was born on May 22, 1972 in Damariscotta, Maine. She graduated from Middlebury College in Vermont and acquired her masters in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater. She is also a member of the Rude Mechanicals Theater Company. She appeared in several television shows like Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Without A Trace, Medical Investigation, and The Handler. Currently, she is part of the television series CSI: NY where she plays Lindsay Monroe. Lindsay Monroe previously worked as a CSI in Montana for three years. As she joined Mac's team, she is put through a rookie training. Her straightforward work ethic and fresh outlook is well received by the group. More often than not, she conducts little experiments in relation to science and the evidence, which has made her close to Stella and Mac.
