From the producers of the Academy Award-winning 2004 motion picture Crash comes a provocative new 13-episode drama series of the same name.  Developed for television by Glen Mazzara, the show sheds light on the American dream through different characters whose lives intersect as they strive to achieve that dream.

Crash features diverse group of people residing in Los Angeles, including eccentric record producer Ben Cendars (Dennis Hopper), Ben's street-smart driver Anthony Adams (Jocko Sims), reckless cop Kenny Battaglia (Ross McCall), his actress-turned-police officer partner Bebe Arcel (Arlene Tur), distressed Brentwood mother Christine Emory (Clare Carey), her real-estate developer husband Peter Emory (D.B. Sweeney), former gang member-turned-EMT Eddie Choi (Brian Tee), illegal Guatemalan immigrant Cesar Uman (Luis Chavez), and cocky, quick-tempered detective Axel Finet (Nick Tarabay).

In tonight's premiere episode of Crash, Axel probes into the murder of a Korean man, while police officers Kenny and Bebe have a confrontation with a mysterious woman.  Ben decides to hire a new limo driver who turns out to be a wannabe music producer from South Central with big ambitions.

Christine, on the other hand, celebrates her 40th birthday.  At the party, her father gets ill so she talks him into staying at her house, much to husband Peter's dismay.

Crash marks the first original drama series from Starz Entertainment with Lionsgate as co-producer.  The show boasts a creative team including writers, directors and producers from movies like Million Dollar Baby and Casino Royale, and premium shows like The Sopranos, The Shield and Deadwood.

Meanwhile, fans can also look forward to Tom Sizemore, who has signed on to join the cast of Crash as Detective Adrian Cooper.  As reported previously, his unorthodox methods will havoc when he investigates a police-involved shooting.

Fans can catch a new episode of Crash every Friday at 10pm on Starz.
