Previously on Cory in the House, the gang celebrated Meena's birthday on the popular television show, My Party Is Better Than Yours.  This initially made her upset as the people on the show always act like brats.  After much convincing from Cory, Meena eventually went along with the plan, but things changed as she started to act just like all the other brats on the show.  Cory decided to fix the situation, while Sophie took an interest in cooking, though the President, Victor and Samantha didn't want to tell her that none of her dishes tasted good.

The comedy continues next week as Disney brings forth a new episode of Cory in the House called “Lip Service.”

In the first new episode of the year, Cory is baffled to ask why Newt won't kiss any girls.  Cory and Meena attempt to help Newt get his first kiss only to find out that Newt pinky-swore only to share his first kiss with his childhood girlfriend from camp.

Meanwhile, Victor gets frustrated with Sophie when she keeps beating him at games.

A spin-off from the hit Disney Channel original series That's So Raven, Cory in the House follows the adventures of Cory when his dad Victor becomes the personal chef to the newly-elected President of the United States.  In this new location, Victor must deal with the pressures of work, while Cory must adjust to life at a new school and endure the annoying attention of the President's daughter, Sophie.

Cory in the House stars Kyle Massey as Cory Baxter, Rondell Sheridan as Victor Baxter, Maiara Walsh as Meena Paroom, Jason Dolley as Newt Livingston, Madison Pettis as Sophie Martinez, and John D'Aquino as President Richard Martinez. Jake Thomas (Jason Stickler) and Lisa Kushell (Samantha Samuels) also appear as recurring characters.
