David James Elliott was born on September 21, 1960 in Ontario, Canada. During his teenage years, he left high school hoping to become a rock star. Later, he realized this would not happen so he went back to finish his education. After college, he moved to Los Angeles and landed a spot in the movie Police Academy 3: Back in Training. He was also included in Knots Landing, The Untouchables, Melrose Place and Seinfeld. At the moment, he is part of the television drama series Close to Home as District Attorney James Colon.
