'Celebrity Circus' Gears up for Finale

Celebrity CircusNBC's Celebrity Circus, which, as the name implies, basically gives “celebrities” a taste of what's it like to work in a circus, is doing OK as far as the ratings go, despite criticisms that it was starting to look like a really bad Dancing with the Stars rip-off.  The show, hosted by former boy band member and himself former Dancing with the Stars contestant Joey Fatone, actually leads networks among viewers 18-49, attracting 6.5 million viewers on the average.

As the reality show heads up to its season finale, three people are left in contention.  Actor Antonio Sabato Jr., actress Stacey Dash and actor and Jason "Wee Man" Acuña of Jack Ass fame are now relying on votes from fans to give them the crown.

It has been said that Sabato had been the consistent one to do the most physically challenging circus acts, yet still failing to win over one of the judges, Aurelia.  Acuña, meanwhile, has a more happy-go-lucky approach to the competition.

“I'm not worried, my life is a big goof, I didn't come here just to compete.  Everyone here is super close, and our trainers, like Vlad, he's my brother from a different mother…when we did our hand balancing act, he was like ‘okay you are gonna shave your head too.  Fatone and I have after parties with everyone in my dressing room, it's cool, and we are all having a blast, along with working really hard too.”

Finally, mother of two Dash is 100 percent focused on her goal.

“I am staying focused, I am exhausted but I came here to win this, I have put so much effort and energy into this, at the expense of my family time, I just want to win it.  I've been honored and blessed forever to be part of this, and I am a different woman because of this experience. “
