On tonight's Castle finale, Castle (Nathan Fillion) and Beckett (Stana Katic) investigate the murder of a missing plastic surgeon who is found dead in the front seat of his car after a week of being parked curbside. Meanwhile, they delve into the twisted world of surgery-obsessed patients and secret operations, and Castle experiences a fatherly rite of passage with Alexis attending her first prom. As for his own life, his discovers some information about Beckett's past that might wreak havoc on his relationship with her forever.
On the last episode of the ABC detective series, a two-year-old girl was discovered missing from her home, and Beckett is called in to assist with the investigation only to discover that the FBI agent in charge is an ex-boyfriend. The new team-up tried to put aside their unresolved feelings as they raced on to find the girl. When Castle came into the picture, however, things understandably got heated up as the two started battling for Beckett's attention.
This episode of Castle saw a 2 million increase in viewers with 10 million tuning in, possibly courtesy of the Dancing with the Stars
episode before it, which reeled in 20.3 million viewers. The show's nine episodes thus far averaged 9.17 viewers for its debut run, but the ratings have dwindled from a high of 10.97 in the second episode to as low as 7.61 million in the sixth.Castle
also stars Susan Sullivan as Martha Rodgers, Molly Quinn as Alexis Castle, Ruben Santiago-Hudson as Roy Montgomery, Tamala Jones as Lanie Parish, Jon Huertas as Javier Esposito, and Seamus Dever as Kevin Ryan.
